I guess that did not work as well as I had hoped.

In 2010 I had to leave the UK and spent five years away from my wife and children while I kept employment and seeking a way home.

During my time away, I was able to act as Bagram Air base's unofficial Jewish Lay Leader, which was quite enlightening.

My spiritual journey seems to have come to a point where I feel a sort of completion with it, a balance. Now in that I still feel that there is much more I can do, however, I know that would cause me to have to put in a level of commitment I cannot put into this journey at this point and still be able to provide for my family.

Meanwhile, as that my wife Jenny has been playing guitar from the age of 15, and I have always loved music and wanted to connect to a good and versatile instrument  I have started guitar lessons, I am really enjoying it.

I now have two girls and a step son. (If I had not mentioned this in my ramblings.) Making the world a magical place full of wonder for them is so rewarding. Seeing the wonder in their eyes at things that I have come to see as mundane sparks a feeling of rejuvenation.

Well I will close this for now, I have no idea when or if I will continue writing on this, but hey...
